Jonathan Pope is a nurse practitioner dual board certified in Psychiatry and Adult Primary Care.

In addition to providing primary care, he offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management and psychotherapy for adults seeking evaluation and treatment for mood disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, personality disorders, insomnia and ADHD.

 

With experience in adult primary care after graduating from the University of South Florida and working in psychiatry since earning his post master's degree certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati, Jonathan has broad clinical expertise in helping people find the path forward.

 

Throughout his career, he continues to follow evidence based treatment guidelines to a standard of excellence with compassion and warmth welcoming all people. He values everyone's right equal access to  health care regardless of race, color, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or creed.

 

Jonathan believes that while medication can be very beneficial,  and even vital in some disorders, he optimizes the well being of patients by also offering psychotherapy while also promoting the value of self care and developing mindfulness. 

 

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys photography, traveling, reading and spending time with his partner and their 6 dogs in Tampa, Florida. Having followed a vegan diet since 2012, he takes pride in guiding anyone interested in learning more about this healthy lifestyle to further enhance vitality and longevity.
